How exciting to be interviewed by Ann Nyberg on Channel 8, WTNH here in Connecticut, on our local ABC station. It was so much fun and everyone at the studio was welcoming and friendly. It’s a short interview so those of you in Connecticut make sure to tune in at 4:30 on Monday, January 12th.

Ann asked me when I started writing, and my answer was 7th grade. I have a clear memory of being in study hall and looking out the window as the snow fell. At that moment, I knew I was a poet, which over the years turned into all kinds of writing. Best of all I got to tell her about my board book: “What Do Toes Do?” and the places where I’ve donated copies. It truly is a little book making a big difference, and I’m excited that the second book in the series, “What Does Your Nose Do?” will be out in late February or early March.
P.S. If you can’t watch my interview live, don’t worry. I’ll post the link to the video once I have it.
